Publishing and Sharing Your Event

Events in Hi.Events start as a Draft by default. They are not visible to the public until you publish them.

Publish your event

To make your event live:

  1. Go to your organizer dashboard

  2. Look for the status indicator in the top bar — it shows either Draft or Live

  3. Click it to switch from Draft → Live

Once published:

  • Your event appears on your public organizer page

  • The direct event link becomes accessible to attendees

  • Tickets can be viewed and purchased

Share your event

You can share your event in two ways:

1. Direct event link — each event has its own URL. Use this when promoting a single event. Click Share Event in the top-right corner.

2. Organizer page — click Share Organizer Page in the top-right corner of the dashboard. This shares all your published events in one place.

You can also click View Organizer Homepage to preview exactly what attendees will see before sharing.

Unpublish your event

To take your event offline:

  1. Click the "Live - Click to Unpublish" indicator in the top bar

  2. Your event switches back to Draft

What happens when you unpublish:

  • Your event is no longer visible to new visitors

  • Ticket sales are paused

  • Existing ticket holders are not affected

Tip: Keep your event in Draft while setting up tickets, pricing, and details. Publish when you're ready to start selling.
