Waitlists

When a ticket sells out, a waitlist lets interested attendees sign up to be notified if tickets become available again.

Enabling the waitlist

  1. Go to Event Settings

  2. Click the Waitlist tab

  3. Toggle the waitlist on

How it works

When a ticket type is sold out, attendees see a Join Waitlist button instead of the usual purchase button. They enter their email and are added to the queue.

Managing the waitlist

To view and manage waitlisted attendees, click Waitlist in the left sidebar (under Guest Management).

From the waitlist management page, you can:

  • View all waitlisted people — see who is waiting and when they signed up

  • Offer tickets — manually release tickets to specific waitlisted attendees

  • Remove entries — clear people from the waitlist if needed

When tickets become available (e.g. from cancellations or if you add more), waitlisted attendees are notified automatically in the order they signed up.

Tip: A waitlist creates urgency and gives you a built-in audience for future events. Even if you cannot accommodate everyone, you now have their email for next time.
